Invictus is playing at the
Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse on Monday for $1 and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in going? It starts at 7:00pm (doors open at 6:30) and is 133 minutes long. The Drafthouse has food you can order to eat while you watch (
menu is available on their website) or we could eat before/after the movie as well. (Though I am unfamiliar with restaurant choices nearby.)
We would need to be there before 6:30 to make sure we can get a ticket. I don't remember if we each have to physically be there when buying tickets are if someone can buy tickets for everyone. People with knowledge?
It is also playing on Tuesday (for $2) and Wednesday (for $3) at the same time, if one of those days is better.
Tickets must be bought with cash, but you can pay for food/drink inside the theater with a credit/debit card (or cash.)
Invictus stars Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela and Matt Damon as Francois Pienaar, the South African rugby team coach. Both have Oscar nominations for their roles in the movie.
