They what?
Jul. 3rd, 2009 03:51 pmSo I was watching SGA S3E17, Sunday, last night, enjoying the way they had edited the episode when, 10 or so minutes left in the episode, they killed my favorite character. Killed dead. I was in denial for the rest of the episode, even as they brought the coffin through the stargate. I won't say who, because that could be considered a spoiler and I hate spoilers. I'm still somewhat in denial.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ACTUALLY KILLED HIM. T_T
I went onto Wikipedia, just to check and see if it was all some horrible misunderstanding. (I kept hoping that the last minute would be of someone waking up like it was all a bad dream.) It wasn't. He really died. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who feels/felt this way. The fan reaction to the character's death in season three was so strong that the Stargate Atlantis producers re-introduced the character in a recurring role in seasons four and five. (Wikipedia) Though it won't be the same.
Since I'm late to the fandom party of SGA (watching it after it's been canceled), I haven't joined fandom. Needed someplace to vent my feelings about this, so I decided to post about it here. Still in denial, but this helped.
