Just two quick notes - old news, but I just found out, so I'm excited.

First, not so exciting, but I read that Amanda Price will be from New York in the Lost in Austen movie. So, yeah, lillbet, as you had guessed (and I had figured as well), Amanda is going to be American (unless she's a Britain in America, which I doubt.) (Heaven forbid Hollywood keep a lead actor/actress their original ethnicity/nationality when doing a remake of a film - British is the closest thing to American anyways, right? Canadians are American, so they don't count.) Guy Andrews, who wrote the original miniseries screenplay is writing the movie screenplay as well. It'll be interesting to see what gets changed and cut for the movie. Still haven't seen any casting news for the movie. Wouldn't it be highly amusing if American!Amanda was played by a British actress?

Onto much more exciting news (to me), though there's not much information about it. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies has a movie deal! That's really all the information I've been able to find. But I'm still so amused and looking forward to it. Apparently a movie deal was in the works before the book was even published. I still have to read the book. It's on my list! I swear!

So damalur posted the following link on tumblr and I clicked, because, well, it's making fun of Twilight. I can usually dig that. The Secrets of the Sparkle a.k.a. TWILIGHT: STONIFIED (Image heavy) And I was not disappointed. (It was made funnier because I kept reading LDS as LSD, which seemed appropriate at the beginning, what with the sparkles and talk of stonified.) And just to note, this isn't just a random "let's make fun of it", this is an "I'm a Mormon and let me just point out how much Mormon stuff there actually is in here, but in a funny way with fun photoshopped pictures." Which I found funny, ammusing, and enlightening all at the same time.

This is really all I need for when someone says something about Edward and how he's "omfg the *best* guy ever!" Mr. Darcy doesn't sparkle, your argument is invalid. On a slightly OT note, I'm loving all of the P&P references I'm seeing lately. They make me giddy. <3
