So I was on [livejournal.com profile] fandomsecrets because it was referenced in another comm and I saw this:

And was just wondering if it was you who had posted it, [livejournal.com profile] lila_blue_b? ;P

Zomg. I want to see that as well. I've often wondered what the Doctor was doing pretending to be a Scottish English teacher who didn't know about the Doctor, but I see the pieces all coming together now.

I second this one million times. I really think all fic should have a beta (even if it is just the author), but I think it's even worse when a professional site has missed obvious grammar mistakes like this.

On a side note, [livejournal.com profile] lila_blue_b I apparently posted that AIM story on ff.net a while ago and just forgot about it. Ironically, I did not check it for spelling or grammar as all I did was take out your comments and my AIM SN.

I have noticed the multiple references to Dreamwidth in posts and wonder what I'm missing. But I don't want to have to join another place.

Hahaha. I was amused. And thanks, now I'm going to think of that. >O

And that's enough pics, so I'll stop now.

And ZOMG, what? There's another Fullmetal Alchemist?! I will have to check this out.I am so out of the loop when it comes to anime...

LOL! No that wasn't me. I don't have problems with the historical inaccuracies of that film. It gets a feel to it, a fatalism, that I don't think could have been achieved in another way, plus any historical inaccuracies really are the fault of the graphic novelist, not the movie makers. If anything annoys me about 300, it's that the hot gay heroes get killed tragically before they get a chance to get it on. ;D

*gigglesnorts at the fact that you published the AIM and dies*

I only joined Dreamwidth because Susan sent me an invite. Other than signing up for it, I haven't been back. I figure the only thing I'll really use it for is to comment on posts over there when they don't have an lj equivalent... like with some of the Trek fics I've found.

I really put the AIM up there in case I deleted/lost/whatever it on my computer. That way I would have it for always. XD It's not that it's even that great, it's just that I still remember writing it to you and I can still totally picture it happening in our school. It's nostalgic.

I saw the 300 pic and immediately thought of you and then I immediately thought of exactly what you replied as being how you really felt. XD (Well, not exactly word for word.) But I still had to put it up, because I was amused.

Yeah, I know, and I don't mean you specifically about Dreamwidth, but I have seen people crossposting on LJ with it and I have to wonder what I'm missing with it. Apparently, since I have an OpenID, I can do everything on there except have a journal and subscribe to things. Don't know how different that is from not having an ID, but whatev.

Oh, no, I didn't mean to imply that I thought you meant me about the Dreamwidth thing either. I kinda agree with that F!S since I too have no idea why fandom has decided to flock there so suddenly and think it's way over-rated and redundant. But I did get one just because I was given the opportunity, and I wonder if it's like the lemming effect or something with lots of people just getting one because they can.

LOL! re: 300.

It is nostalgic. Oh, the good old days of Blake High School. *sighs*

ALSO: OMG! YOUR ICON! ... which reminds me... What are they going to do about Spock's pon farr now in canon? It's a really valid question. Because he still would have been bonded to T'Pring when they were 7 years old, and she's probably dead now and the severance of their pre-marriage bond would have left some sort of damage - even if slight - in its wake in Spock's mind. Plus, now he has nowhere in particular to go when the time comes to take care of his little problem that will quickly turn into a big one. This is a kind of huge question for the Star Trek universe... and I REALLY WANT TO KNOW!!!! Of course, what I'd like to happen (something sort of like this right here) and what probably will happen according to the will of J.J. Abrams probably don't even exist in the same galaxy, but a girl can dream.

Just wanted to make sure that you knew that I wasn't meaning you in a passive-aggressive way or anything as well. Want to make things clear through the sometimes obfuscating use and interpretation of words on screen. :)

I know. I love that icon. And that's a good question. They have sooo many things they can tackle in the next movie, it's crazy. I just hope it's as awesome as XI was. (And I totally love that fic and agree with you.)

I hope they do at least touch on that at some point because it's pretty significant for Spock's character. Plus, inquiring minds want to know damnit!
