Can I just take a moment to say how freaking hot Chris Pine looks in this picture?

I vaguely remember that episode of CSI, too, and I totally thought the same thing when I was watching it. (Just replace 'Chris Pine' with 'that guy'.)

So I woke up a little after one today after going to bed just before 12:30 last night. Am not impressed with myself. I was apparently having interesting/fun dreams this morning, because I vaguely remember waking up a couple of times just to go right back to sleep because I wanted to keep dreaming whatever it was I was dreaming. Tonight I hope to go to bed a little earlier and get up a lot earlier tomorrow. We shall see how successful I am.

On other non-Star Trek (!), non-sleeping news, I really love my Blackberry (BB) Pearl, because it's the size of a regular phone, but has the features of a smartphone. I still love it, but I am starting to wish I had a bigger smartphone with a bigger screen. With that intro, I am excited about BB's two upcoming phones: the Tour 9630 and the Storm 2.

The BB 9630 looks gorgeous and is supposed to be a CDMA/GSM phone (which means that I can use it on my CDMA phone service here and then go over to Europe and purchase a sim card and use it on a GSM phone server over there.) Even if I never get over to Europe again while I have the phone, I love the fact that if I did, I wouldn't have to change my phone or go without one. I know how lost I feel without a cell - we didn't have our cells the last couple of days we were in South Korea and it killed me when my friends and I were trying to meet up in Seoul. The only thing that would make this phone awesomer (okay, one of many things) would be if I could use it in South Korea and Japan as well, because I am hoping to go to at least one of those places in the next year and a half.

Isn't it pretty?

And then there was the announcement and confirmation of the new Storm 2 that will be coming out. I'm on the fence about touchscreen phones, because I know I would be touching them all the time on accident and it could become very messy. On the other hand, I love the tactile aspect of touchscreens and the bigger screen. I'm on my phone a lot and I love to go to websites and watch videos. And it there are rumors of wifi, which is something that is currently missing in the Storm. The Storm also is a CDMA/GSM phone. The Storm's screen is definitely bigger than all of the other BB phones. Which is nice. Very nice. Yes, I know, there are other touchscreen phones, but the main one that everyone thinks of is iPhone and I am biased against most Apple products, especially iTunes and hardware that uses it (read: all Apple products.) I try to not be biased, but it usually doesn't work.

The best thing about these two phones? They both should be released on Verizon first (well, rumored for the Tour). Since my phone service is currently with Alltel, I'll be Verizon soon. (Wish I knew when soon was, though. Mergers. -.-)

I've just read a little bit about this new phone, but it looks really cool. It's touchscreen, but also has a qwerty keyboard which slides down. The OS looks really nice and overall it looks like a lot of fun. Watched a video with someone showing off how apps would work on it. Looks nice.

Cool, right?

I did see this other picture from the side, though, that makes it look a little bit thick to me.

Too bad it's attached to Sprint.

This post has taken me too long to write (mainly because I kept getting sidetracked by new phone pics and reviews), so I'm going to end it now. Cheers.

Lord, but he's pretty. Even with that fake lipring.

And those are pretty cool looking phones! The first one looks a lot like my treo.

There's no even with. That lipring (fake or not), that picture, it just does things to me. He's so freaking hot right there. >.>

The first one is kind of a mixture of two other Blackberry phones - The Curve and the Bold.

Not that I'm going to be getting a new phone anytime soon. My Pearl still works perfectly and I don't want to sign a contract with Verizon until we have to. I would rather sign another 2 year contract with Alltel and keep our current plan from them for that much longer after we get switched to Verizon. It's cheaper and better than any of Verizon's equivalent plans.
